Our very own and very dynamic booking manager, Christina Papadopoulos made her annual pilgrimage to the Genoa Charter Yacht Show – 2013 that is held every year in the city and port of Genoa, Italy. last week to see the new charter vessels on show. Not only the new ones, but also to check out the existing fleet and any recent updates and crew changes. The Genoa Show is a must for serious charter brokers everywhere, it showcases not only the West Mediterranean yachts but also some Eastern Med yachts and also the mega-yachts and large catamarans that operate in the Caribbean in Winter.
Christina’s experience with this med show and the others that she attends in Poros, Greece and Marmaris, Turkey allows us here at American Yacht, to be completely up to date with all changes and new additions to the charter fleet so we can in turn pass on this information to our customers.
She will be attending the Caribbean shows in Tortola and St. Thomas in November, to update her knowledge of the Caribbean Yachts and Catamarans that operate year-round in the Caribbean Islands and especially the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Later, in December she may attend the Antigua show although many of those mega-yachts and big catamarans may be the same as the ones she saw at the Genoa Charter Yacht Show -2013 in May.
