The 51st annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show is taking place December 2-8, 2012 at Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina both located in Falmouth Harbour.
In Antigua for the fabulous Antigua Charter Yacht Show — at English Harbour, Antigua.
Day one: a beautiful sunny warm day in Antigua.
How many of you have been on a boat here at English Harbour? It’s so steeped in history from Lord Nelson’s days! This was Lord Nelson’s first real job – as captain of the British frigate BOREAS in 1781. Married a local (Nevis) lass too…!
Day two in Antigua. Hot and little breeze in English Harbour. Walked to the Royal Yacht Club to check out what was going on in the marina. Lots of activity the day before the yacht show like here in Nelson’s Dockyard. The Yachts are all looking amazing and surreal, so spic and span for inspection this week. Power yachts, catamarans and large mono hulls all sitting proudly to attention saying “bring it on” we are ready!!
Who likes blue hulls?
How about this for dining al fresco?
First day of the charter yacht show in Antigua was fabulous. Very hot on the docks but nice and cool inside the boats. So many great ones to choose for our clients and so many wonderful crew members. In all honesty the crew really make your vacation.
It’s fairly easy to get on board most boats and little or no wait. There are a wonderful selection of yachts!
Currently on board the world’s largest catamaran, 145 feet of simple tasteful luxury. HEMISPHERE will be in the Caribbean for this winter and Tahiti in the South Pacific next summer.
Day three in Antigua: why is the rum bottle always EMPTY…..
Only another 50 yachts to visit, I’m not even out of breath…….whew
